Job summary

Jobot in Ohio is seeking a Tooling Engineer to design and refine tooling for ductile iron casting programs using SolidWorks, with MAGMA simulations to validate designs before production.

The role focuses on yield improvement and continuous improvement across the casting process, partnering with customers and account managers on new product development, and supporting quoting, launches, testing and validation from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field; bachelor's preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with CAD modeling, blueprint reading, and DFM.
• Foundry or tooling design experience is a strong plus.
• Strong problem solver with good communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine tooling using SolidWorks in support of ductile iron casting programs.
• Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate designs before they hit the floor.
• Own yield improvement and continuous improvement across the casting process.
• Partner with customers and account managers on new product development.
• Support quoting, product launches, testing and validation from start to finish.
• Bring new technology and process improvements into the operation.
