Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Design Engineer in the United States with SolidWorks and MAGMA experience to drive tooling and casting design for ductile iron programs. You will validate designs with MAGMA simulations and lead yield improvements across the casting process.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in CAD modeling and DFx, with associate or bachelor’s degrees in engineering, and a strong cross-team communicator able to partner with customers and account managers.

Qualifications

• Two+ years hands-on CAD modeling and design for manufacturability.
• CAD experience with SolidWorks and casting processes preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine tooling using SolidWorks for ductile iron casting programs.
• Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate designs before production.
• Own yield improvement and continuous improvement across casting processes.
• Collaborate with customers and account managers on new product development.
• Support quoting, launches, testing and validation from start to finish.
• Introduce new technology and process improvements into operations.
