Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Tooling Engineer 2/3 for the Rocket Center, West Virginia site. The role focuses on coordinating tool design and fabrication with internal and external customers, performing tolerance analyses, and driving process improvements.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with relevant experience, be able to manage multiple project phases, and work on-site with no remote option. A DoD Secret clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s STEM degree required; 2 years of experience for Level 2 or Master’s with 0 years.
• Level 3 requires 5 years with Bachelor’s or 3 years with Master’s in tooling fabrication or related production operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools with customers.
• Perform tolerance analysis for form/fit/function.
• Conduct root cause failure investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and evaluate process improvements and manufacturability.
