Job summary

Cylake in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to deploy, maintain, and scale our GitLab‑centered tooling stack. You will architect comprehensive CI/CD pipelines, integrate SAST and artifact registries, and establish foundational development standards to accelerate secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying, configuring, and managing GitLab in production environments.
• Strong expertise designing and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines, including umbrella pipelines that trigger container builds, Helm packaging, and RPM builds.
• Experience deploying and integrating SAST tools (e.g., Coverity or Semgrep) into automated pipelines.
• Proficiency setting up and managing artifact registries (container registries, Helm charts, RPM repos).
• Experience establishing development environment standards (branch strategies, conventional commits, code review standards, pre-commit hooks).
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines for cross‑compilation (Windows, Linux, macOS) and project scaffolding (Rust workspaces).
• Familiarity with test automation (e.g., QEMU/KVM boot testing in CI).
• Bonus: build signing and secret management (Vault integration, ELAM/PPL).
• Bonus: ML specialization pipelines (model distillation/pruning/quantization).

Responsibilities
