Job summary

LMI is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to enhance secure software delivery, release engineering, and deployment platforms across Linux, Windows, and macOS. You will maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for TS/JS, Python, and Rust apps and collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to embed security into the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, engineering, information security, or related field.
• Significant experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, platform engineering, SRE, or release engineering.
• Advanced experience designing and operating GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux and shell-scripting skills.
• Experience with automated security scanning and CI/CD quality gates.
• Experience building, scanning, signing, and publishing OCI container images.
• Familiarity with artifact repositories (Nexus).
• Kubernetes experience; Azure/AWS familiarity.
• Knowledge of IaC and config management.
• Experience releasing across Linux/Windows/macOS.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable GitLab CI/CD pipelines and templates.
• Integrate automated testing, code-quality checks, and security scanning.
• Build secure workflows for scanning, signing, and publishing containers and packages to Nexus.
• Develop cross-platform release processes including packaging, signing, and artifact promotion.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes workloads across on‑prem, Azure, and AWS.
• Support HPC workloads using Slurm and Azure CycleCloud.
• Manage dependency updates and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Establish security policies, remediation timelines, and quality gates.
• Improve pipeline reliability, documentation, and developer self-service.
• Partner with teams to strengthen security without slowing delivery.
