Job summary

Cepeda is seeking a CI/CD Pipeline Developer to design, build, and maintain automated GitLab-centered CI/CD pipelines for Java and C++ teams. This onsite role at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL requires collaboration with developers, testers, and infrastructure personnel to deliver secure, scalable software delivery workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and branching strategies.
• Experience supporting Java-based applications or collaborating with Java teams.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, maintain, and refine CI/CD pipelines with a focus on GitLab workflows and automation.
• Collaborate with Java and C++ developers, testers, and infrastructure teams to improve integration, testing, and deployment.
• Implement and maintain branching, merge processes, and repository workflows using Git and GitLab.
• Improve developer experience through automation and pipeline optimization.
• Support containerization/orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar tools.
• Create and maintain documentation for pipeline designs, configurations, and workflows.
