Job summary

StraitSys Inc. seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate a delivery platform used across the enterprise IT organization. The role focuses on GitLab Ultimate, AKS, and automated deployment pipelines.

You will influence platform architecture across cloud environments, enforce code-based infrastructure, and ensure secure, auditable deployments with containerized microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• 7+ years in DevOps, platform or infra engineering.
• Hands-on GitLab CI/CD with reusable templates and self-managed GitLab.
• Production Linux experience, preferably RHEL.
• Experience with AKS and Azure managed services.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD template library and onboard new services.
• Define pipeline structure, environment promotion, and approvals.
• Ensure security scanning and tests are integrated in CI/CD.
• Automate infrastructure as code and secret management.
• Collaborate with developers to deploy containerized microservices.
