Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Tooling Engineer for our Palmdale, CA site on a 12 Month Contract. The role is onsite with US citizenship required and a pay rate of $45-55/hr W2.

You will coordinate tool design with customers, develop test plans, and drive process improvements for manufacturability. Responsibilities include managing all project phases from design to validation, supporting product development, and ensuring tools and fixtures meet drawing standards and industry guidelines

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Catia design experience (high proficiency in 3D modeling and detailing).
• Familiarity with Industry Standards related to Detailed Drawing Requirements, ANSI, ISO, etc.
• Knowledgeable in designing of castings, stampings and turned components
• GDT knowledge and proper application to drawings
• Efficient in writing, communication and ability to manage technical details
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external
• Coordinate/develop & execute test plans
• Develop & evaluate process improvements
• Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/technology.
• Developing manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment in support of our process work instructions and visual aids of our shop planning process and other functions that affect product performance.
• Managing all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.
