Job summary

Tooling Engineer is needed in Palmdale, CA to support our tooling department on a 12-month contract. You will coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with internal and external customers and develop test plans to validate processes.

The role emphasizes 3+ years of Catia design experience, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office. Onsite work with US citizenship required. Pay is $45-55/hr W2, with a full on-site schedule in Palmdale.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external
• Coordinate/develop and execute test plans
• Develop and evaluate process improvements
• Assist product development with manufacturability and validation of processes/techniques
• Develop manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for tool fabrication and shop planning
