CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Tooling Engineer for an onsite 12-month contract in Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on coordinating tool and fixture design, test plans, and process improvements to support manufacturing operations.

The candidate will work closely with product development to ensure manufacturability, develop fabrication plans, and manage all project phases from design through validation. US citizenship is required.

• GD&T knowledge and ability to apply drawing rules.

• Attention to detail in handling technical documentation.
• Experience with writing and presenting engineering details.

Mansioni

• Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers.
• Coordinate/develop & execute test plans.
• Develop & evaluate process improvements.
• Assist Product Development Team to ensure manufacturability of new designs.
• Develop manufacturing processes and procedures for tooling fabrication.
• Manage all phases of a project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.
