Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Tooling Engineer to join our Palmdale, CA shop on a 12-month contract. The role onsite supports our tooling department with hands-on design and fabrication coordination.

The engineer will work with customers and internal teams to develop tool designs, test plans, and process improvements, ensuring manufacturability and alignment with industry standards. US citizenship is required.

Competenze

• 3+ years of Catia design experience with high 3D modeling proficiency.
• Familiarity with ANSI/ISO drawing standards.
• Experience in designing castings, stampings and turned components.
• GD&T knowledge to apply drawing rules correctly.
• Strong written and verbal communication of technical details.

Mansioni

• Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers.
• Coordinate, develop & execute test plans.
• Develop & evaluate process improvements.
• Assist product development with manufacturability and validate process/technology.
• Develop manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for tool fabrication.
• Manage all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.
