Associated Materials Innovations, a leading North American manufacturer of exterior building products, seeks a Tool and Die Technician to maintain dies, embossing and transfer rolls, and calibration equipment for production. You will contribute to keeping tooling available and within quality standards while following safety and housekeeping practices.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of manufacturing experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds; familiarity with AMMS and extrusion

Formación

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1 year of Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledgeable and can use small hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined and safety-conscious.
• Team oriented with a proven safety and attendance record.
• Willingness to work overtime and any shift.
• Familiar with AMMS system.
• Proficient in operating extrusion lines and understand extrusion processes.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn and operate extrusion machines.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain dies, embossing rolls, transfer rolls and calibration for production.
• Inspect and repair tooling to ensure quality tooling is available for production.
• Perform product changes in accordance with the production schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Housekeeping duties in the department; trash removal.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate mobile equipment (boom/scissor lifts).
• Participate in 5s events as needed.
• Follow safety rules and facility housekeeping.
