Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Tool & Die Technician to maintain dies, embossing rolls, transfer rolls and calibration equipment used in production. You will ensure tooling is available and up to quality standards while supporting safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, mechanical aptitude, and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and work flexible shifts as needed.

• Proficient in operating extrusion lines with a good general understanding of the process.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work any shifts.
• Willingness to learn and operate extrusion machines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dies, embossing rolls, transfer rolls and calibration for use in production.
• Inspect and repair tooling to ensure quality tooling is available for production.
• Perform product changes in accordance with the production schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Performs housekeeping duties in the department to include trash removal.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
• Operate mobile equipment to include boom and scissor lifts.
• Be a contributing member on 5s events as needed.
• Understand and observe all safety rules and initiatives.
• Observe housekeeping throughout the facility.
