Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is seeking a hands-on Tool & Die Technician in Gaylord, MI to support high-volume manufacturing. The role focuses on tooling maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve part quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Tool & Die, strong blueprint reading, and experience with precision measuring instruments. Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus, with a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule.

We’re seeking an experienced Tool & Die Technician to support high-volume manufacturing operations through tooling maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, modify, and maintain steel tooling and dies
• Operate manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders
• Troubleshoot tooling and production issues
• Read blueprints and verify tooling accuracy
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
