Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping operations by maintaining, repairing, and modifying dies and tooling. The role emphasizes troubleshooting tooling issues and ensuring uptime for high-quality production.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints with GD&T, performing TIG/MIG welding repairs, setting up machine tools, and verifying dimensions with precision instruments while coordinating with production and maintenance

Competenze

• Four years of related experience or completion of an approved trade school program.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools.

Mansioni

• Follow safety, OSHA regulations during duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies in press and toolroom.
• Analyze specs and lay out metal stock for tooling repairs/modifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair dies and tooling.
• Weld (TIG/MIG) when repairing/rebuilding tool steel components.
• Spot and polish die details to ensure proper nesting and reduce wear.
• Verify dimensions with calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, dial indicators.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T specs, sketches, and models.
• Maintain communication with production and maintenance teams.
