Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping operations by maintaining and repairing dies and tooling. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, precise measurements, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include setting up tools, performing TIG/MIG welding when needed, and coordinating with production teams to maintain uptime and product quality across shifts.

Formación

• Journeyman Tool and Die certification preferred.
• Minimum four years of related experience or completion of an approved trade school program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measurement tools and machinist equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations while performing duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies both in the press and within the toolroom.
• Analyze specifications and layout metal stock for tooling repairs or modifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Assemble and fit parts using machines and hand tools to build, repair, or modify tooling.
• Perform welding operations (TIG/MIG) when repairing or rebuilding tool steel components.
• Spot and polish die details to ensure proper nesting of parts and reduce wear on high-contact surfaces.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, sketches, and models.
• Maintain effective communication with production and maintenance teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
