Job summary

Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping operations by maintaining, repairing, and modifying dies, tooling, and related equipment. The role involves troubleshooting tooling issues and ensuring tooling operates efficiently to sustain high production quality and uptime.

The position requires at least four years of related experience or completion of a certified trade program, with safety-conscious work practices in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and machinist equipment.
• Journeyman Tool and Die certification preferred or completion of an approved trade program.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations while performing duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies in the press and toolroom.
• Analyze specifications and layout metal stock for tooling repairs or modifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Assemble and fit parts using machines and hand tools to build, repair, or modify tooling.
• Perform TIG/MIG welding when repairing tool steel components.
• Spot and polish die details to ensure proper nesting of parts and reduce wear.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances using precision measurement tools.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, sketches, and models.
• Maintain effective communication with production and maintenance teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
