Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping operations. This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and modifying dies, tooling, and related equipment, troubleshooting tooling issues, and maintaining high production quality and uptime.

The candidate should have a Journeyman Tool and Die certification preferred, 4+ years of related experience, and strong skills in reading blueprints and GD&T, plus experience with precision measuring

Qualifikationen

• Journeyman Tool and Die certification preferred.
• Minimum four years of related experience or completion of an approved trade school program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings including GD&T.
• Experience using precision measurement tools and machinist equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Aufgaben

• Follow all safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations while performing duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies both in the press and within the toolroom.
• Analyze specifications and layout metal stock for tooling repairs or modifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Assemble and fit parts using machines and hand tools to build, repair, or modify tooling.
• Perform welding operations (TIG/MIG) when repairing or rebuilding tool steel components.
• Spot and polish die details to ensure proper nesting of parts and reduce wear on high-contact surfaces.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, sketches, and models.
• Maintain effective communication with production and maintenance teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
