Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping operations by maintaining, repairing, and modifying dies, tooling, and related equipment. This role involves troubleshooting tooling issues, performing repairs, and ensuring tooling operates efficiently to maintain high production quality and uptime.

The candidate should have Journeyman Tool and Die certification or trade school completion, plus four years of related experience, strong

Competenze

Journeyman Tool and Die certification preferred.
Minimum four years of related experience or completion of an approved trade school program.
Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
Experience with precision measurement tools and machinist equipment.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Mansioni

Follow safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations while performing duties.
Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies both in the press and within the toolroom.
Analyze specifications and layout metal stock for tooling repairs or modifications.
Set up and operate machine tools to repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
Assemble and fit parts using machines and hand tools to build, repair, or modify tooling.
Perform welding operations (TIG/MIG) when repairing or rebuilding tool steel components.
Spot and polish die details to ensure proper nesting of parts and reduce wear on high-contact surfaces.
Verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators.
Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, sketches, and models.
Maintain effective communication with production and maintenance teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
