Job summary

Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC seeks a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping by maintaining, repairing, and modifying dies and tooling. You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and ensure tooling runs with high uptime.

The role requires troubleshooting, setting up machine tools, TIG/MIG welding, and precise inspection with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. Safety and OSHA standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Tool & Die certification preferred.
• Minimum four years of related experience or trade school completion.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and machinist equipment.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, OSHA regs while performing duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies in press and toolroom.
• Read specs and layout stock for tooling repairs.
• Set up and operate tools to repair dies, jigs, gauges.
• Assemble and fit parts to build or modify tooling.
• Welding operations (TIG/MIG) when repairing tool steel components.
• Inspect die details to ensure proper nesting and reduce wear.
• Verify dimensions with precision tools.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, sketches, and models.
• Communicate with production and maintenance teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
