Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Allendale-area employers to recruit Tool and Die Makers. This opportunity targets skilled tradespeople who can design, build, repair tooling, read blueprints, and optimize processes; on-site roles with compensation 65k-100k depending on experience.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and an apprenticeship or equivalent experience. CAD/CAM knowledge and metrology skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong proficiency with manual and CNC tooling (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Experience with precision measurement tools and metrology.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new tools, dies, and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain existing tooling to maximize production efficiency.
• Operate machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, EDM).
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models for tooling specs.
• Perform precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tooling designs.
