Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC seeks a seasoned Manufacturing/Quality Engineer with 5+ years in setup, troubleshooting, and production of progressive, compound, and secondary tooling. You will work under ISO 13485/AS9100 regimes, reading blueprints and applying GD&T to ensure quality, while implementing Lean improvements.

Exposure to medical/aerospace environments and strong cost-of-quality awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in setup, troubleshooting, fabrication and production of progressive, compound, four-slide, and secondary tooling.
• CT-approved journeyperson with completed apprenticeship.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience in progressive stamping, SPC and ISO quality standards.
• Exposure to Medical/Aerospace environments (ISO 13485, AS9100).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing: Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5S.
• Understanding of Manufacturing/Quality Engineering, DFM/DFA, production standards, and cost of quality.
• Self-starter, strong work ethic, production-focused.
