Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a skilled Tool & Diemaker to maintain and enhance tooling for production presses. You will service production tools, perform pre-run maintenance, and fabricate components, fixtures, and gauges as directed by supervision.

The role supports apprentices and documents tool history and setup details. The incumbent collaborates with Senior Tool & Diemaker on new tooling introductions, helps standardize tooling inventory, and contributes to Lean projects across manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or 5+ years experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T for production accuracy.
• Experience with progressive stamping is preferred.
• Familiar with ISO13485 & AS9100 environments.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge (Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5S).
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and overhead cranes safely.

Responsibilities

• Service production tooling in the press and perform pre-run maintenance.
• Fabricate tools, components, fixtures and gauges as directed.
• Train apprentices and document Tool History and Setup info.
• Alert supervisor on tool or machine maintenance needs.
• Assist in tool standardization and tooling project development.
