Amsted Automotive's TransForm Automotive Shelby Twp division is seeking experienced Tool & Die Makers for the 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm with +15% shift premium). You will support production operation setup and efficiencies by keeping dies optimized and aligned with quality requirements.

Days: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm; Afternoons: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm +15% shift premium; Midnights: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am +15% shift premium. Join a crew dedicated to continuous improvement and meeting customer demand.

Competenze

• Proficiency in GD&T interpretation of dies, details and prints.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve daily operation deficiencies.
• Interpret CMM or gaging information to adjust tooling.
• 5 years’ experience in metal stamping, prototype, tool & die build or die repair.
• Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001 and Q1 compliance.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and optimize dies and tooling.
• Operate tool room equipment and machinery with precision.
• Support press setup and efficiency to meet targets.
• Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Apply root-cause analysis to improve efficiency and quality.
• Maintain product quality to print specifications where applicable.
• Occasionally work overtime to satisfy customer demand.
• Participate in lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen).
• Support continuous improvement activities.
