Job description

Position Overview:

1. Fabricate, maintain, and repair tooling used in high-volume manufacturing.
2. Design, build, and troubleshoot:
   • Punch press dies
   • Press brake tooling
   • MIG/resistance welding fixtures
   • Cutting/shearing tools
3. Support live production with tool repairs and improvements (not job shop work).
4. Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematics.
5. Operate and program CNC mills and lathes (G-code, 3-axis), plus manual equipment.
6. Perform MIG/TIG welding and heat-treating processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Tool & Die experience in manufacturing/production (not prototype-only environments).
• CNC machining skills – programming and setup experience required.
• Strong blueprint reading and tool steel selection knowledge.
• Experience with CAD and CMMS systems.
• Self-sufficient, accurate, and detail-oriented.
