Overview

• Performs all types of tool room work, which includes setting up and operating equipment required to perform assignment or task efficiently using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedure, toll charts, gauges, etc.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation and maintenance of all equipment in plant using blueprints, documented quality procedures, work instructions, set-up and operating procedures, tool charts, gauges, etc.
• May be assigned to do machine repair work when necessary and qualified.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance and documentation on equipment.
• Capable of repairing pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and tests.
• Responsible for diagnosing and correcting trouble of all descriptions on equipment.
• Assists foreman in purchase of replacement or spare parts

Qualifications

• 8 years of verifiable work experience as a Tool & Die Maker or a Journeymans card. (REQUIRED)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift 55lbs.
• Good mechanical skills
