Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Tool Crib Technician to manage inventory, coordinate purchases, and support maintenance operations. You will handle cycle counts, deliveries, and asset records while ensuring accurate documentation and MSDS records.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in inventory/warehouse roles, familiarity with inventory software, and a forklift background. This role emphasizes safety and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years inventory/warehouse experience preferred.
• Two years computer experience in a professional environment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts, consumables, safety equipment, and tools.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile system records with actual quantities.
• Accept deliveries and distribute materials to departments or personnel.
• Tag equipment and maintain asset records.
• Maintain MSDS records and related documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance to stock parts and tools.
• Obtain vendor quotations and follow up on purchase orders and deliveries.
• Generate orders based on requests and place orders with local vendors.
• Assist Accounting with reconciliation of received goods and documentation.
• Logistics and administrative support for inventory and facilities.
