Job summary

The Tool Crib Attendant at Ideal Tridon Smyrna, TN, will manage and maintain the tool crib for the 3rd shift, 11:00pm–7:00am. responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, cataloging tools, inventory control, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-3 years experience with tool crib management systems is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and AS400.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, and catalogs incoming tools and equipment.
• Maintains an organized and clean tool crib area.
• Maintains accuracy and accountability for tool crib inventory.
• Monitors tool inventory levels and reorders supplies as necessary.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Keeps accurate records of tool transactions and inventory levels.
• Assists in the implementation of tool-tracking systems and procedures.
• Provides support to employees regarding tool selection and usage.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
