Job summary

Ground Effects LLC is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to manage tools and equipment in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include issuing, receiving, inventory, maintenance, and calibration coordination. 3rd shift is Sunday-Thursday, 10:45pm-6:45am, with an hourly rate of $19.54.

The role emphasizes tool inspection, proper identification, and working with the Windsor tooling team to ensure calibration paperwork is transmitted promptly. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Preferred: certificate or diploma within a relevant field.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment required.
• Knowledge in Preventative Maintenance system is a plus.
• Operation of Industrial Equipment is required.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Ensure OSHA and internal safe operating principles are followed.
• Adhere to IATF16949 requirements.
• Complete annual RCRA Training.
• Excellent interpersonal, written communication and organizational skills.
• Maintain a valid US Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Issue tools and equipment to workers.
• Maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned per written process.
• Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear.
• Coordinate calibration paperwork with Windsor tooling team.
• Deliver tools or equipment to workers manually or using industrial equipment.
• Mark and identify tools and equipment with tags or markings.
• Prepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory.
• Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment; replenish stock.
• Assist with scheduling repairs of vehicle lifts or industrial equipment.
• Repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment.
• Comply with Environmental Programs and OSHA requirements.
• Adhere to safety policies on the production floor.
