Job summary

The Ideal Tridon Smyrna Plant is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to manage the tool crib, keep tools organized, and ensure accurate inventory. The role requires familiarity with tool crib systems, strong organization, and the ability to work with a team to support manufacturing operations.

Shift is 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am) on a Sunday–Thursday schedule, with hourly pay of $20.00–$21.55 plus a $1.10 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience required.
• 1-3 years experience with tool crib management systems required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, and catalogs incoming tools and equipment.
• Maintains an organized and clean tool crib area.
• Maintains accuracy and accountability for tool crib inventory.
• Monitors tool inventory levels and reorders supplies as necessary.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Keeps accurate records of tool transactions and inventory levels.
• Assists in the implementation of tool-tracking systems and procedures.
• Provides support to employees regarding tool selection and usage.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
