Job summary

The Tool Crib Attendant at Ideal Tridon Smyrna, TN, will manage and maintain the tool crib for the 3rd shift, 11:00pm–7:00am. responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, cataloging tools, inventory control, and safety compliance.

We are seeking a Tool Crib Attendant that will be responsible for managing and maintaining the tool crib, ensuring that tools and equipment are organized, accessible, and in good working condition at our Ideal Tridon Smyrna, TN Plant.

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Shift: 3rd Shift 11:00pm - 7:00am

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00- $21.55 + $1.10 Shift Differential

Training Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receives, inspects, and catalogs incoming tools and equipment.
• Maintains an organized and clean tool crib area.
• Maintains accuracy and accountability for tool crib inventory.
• Monitors tool inventory levels and reorders supplies as necessary.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Keeps accurate records of tool transactions and inventory levels.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting and reaching with hands and arms.
• May occasionally climb stairs, drive vehicles, and operate equipment.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
