Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Tool Crib Coordinator for the 2nd shift at our Torrance, CA site. You will manage gage calibration, tool setup, and inventory in a fast-paced aerospace machining environment.

This role requires experience with gage inspection equipment, tool setting, and Lean/Kaizen practices, with on-site responsibilities and collaboration with machinists to ensure timely production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and follow English instructions and perform basic math.
• Experience with tool setting and kitting.
• Experience with gage inspection equipment.
• Experience supporting Machine Shop operations including tooling, inspection equipment, racking and cabinets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Owns all gage inspection equipment across the Aircraft division's Machine Shop and ensures calibration is timely and accurate.
• Sets up and kits tooling in designated areas to streamline setup time and improve on-time delivery.
• Leads processes to support department goals and performance.
• Processes over 20,000 inspection gages across the Aircraft Group's Machine Shop, Processing and A&T.
• Locates shop gages weekly and coordinates calibration via TED; tracks location and condition of gages across departments.
