Job summary

V2X is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant for the 2nd shift to support manufacturing and maintenance by receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking tools, equipment, parts, supplies, and materials. You will maintain accurate records, ensure tools are available, and coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and vendors to minimize delays.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in machining, aerospace maintenance, or manufacturing and is familiar with common tools and tooling. U.S.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in machining, aerospace maintenance, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with tools, tooling, and common shop equipment.
• Ability to use electronic systems to maintain inventory or asset records.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and track tools, equipment, parts, supplies, and materials in a tool crib and at supported work locations.
• Process tool and material checkouts, returns, and transfers while maintaining accountability and traceability.
• Maintain inventory records using applicable electronic systems.
• Monitor stock levels and submit replenishment requests as needed.
• Perform periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Receive, unpack, inspect, and store incoming tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Inspect tools and equipment for defects and report issues.
• Identify items needing repair, replacement, inspection, or calibration.
• Locate lost tools and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Organize and store industrial stock for efficient handling and protection.
• Coordinate delivery and return of tools requiring calibration and vendor services.
• Maintain shipping documentation and transfer items as needed.
• Keep tool crib clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow safety, quality, and security procedures.
• Work independently and with cross-functional teams.
