Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, machine shop, tool room, or inventory control environment.
  • Direct tool crib experience issuing, tracking, organizing, and maintaining manufacturing tooling.
  • Direct tooling knowledge, including cutting tools, inserts, holders, gauges, and machining consumables.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain inventory records.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and inventory documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Issue tools, equipment, and supplies to machinists and production employees.
  • Prepare tooling kits for CNC machining centers and VMCs
  • Maintain accurate tooling inventory and usage records
  • Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming tooling and supplies
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Inspect tooling for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacement
  • Order replacement tooling, inserts, and consumables
  • Support production by staging tooling and responding to shop‑floor needs
  • Track, organize, and maintain company tooling assets
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient tool crib

This is a hands‑on position for someone with direct tool crib experience, strong organizational skills, and a working knowledge of tooling used in CNC machining and precision manufacturing environments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Forklift or material handling experience
