Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Tomahawk Proposal Manager to lead proposal development and capture growth efforts for the Tomahawk Cruise Missile portfolio. This onsite role reports to the Sr.

Proposal Manager and supports cross-functional teams across Engineering, Estimating, Operations, and Contracting. The position requires a university degree with 8+ years of related experience, DoD acquisitions knowledge, and the ability to manage schedules, BOEs, and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in related roles.
• Experience developing complex, compliant proposals in defense environments.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, including FMS and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Execute timely development, analysis, and completion of proposals with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure proposals meet compliance, quality, schedule, and affordability targets.
• Develop compliant proposal plans, cost volumes, artifacts, and content structures aligned to RFPs.
• Coordinate inputs across Engineering, Estimating, Operations, Program Management, Contracts, Finance.
• Manage proposal schedules, milestones, deliverables, and review cycles.
• Coach SMEs on BOE development and narrative structure.
