Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Development Program Manager to lead a hardware development program within the Tomahawk portfolio. Reporting to the Tomahawk Development Associate Director, the PM will manage the cost, schedule and technical execution of a complex development effort targeted at qualifying and fielding an upgraded Tomahawk capability.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Degree with 7+ years of related experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading profit and loss on DoD contracts as a program manager or senior leadership.
  • Experience with EAC reviews and progress reporting with internal and customer leadership.
  • Experience with engineering processes and transitioning to production.

Responsibilities

  • Accountability for program profit and loss, annual operating plan, and financial metrics.
  • Lead a clear program execution methodology with visibility into status.
  • Develop leadership within the development team and maintain positive team dynamics.
  • Balance risk, deadlines, and profitability in priority decisions.
  • Collaborate with Tomahawk Development Team customer counterparts and suppliers.
