Qualifications

• 5+ years in talent acquisition, including substantial experience recruiting in Japan and helping a technology startup or scale‑up grow.
• Proven track record across functions and seniority levels, with the ability to learn new talent markets and adapt your approach.

Responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruitment across functions in Japan, partnering with hiring managers to define role scope and hiring strategies.
• Advise senior leaders on Japan’s talent market, compensation, motivations, and recruitment approaches.
• Build and nurture proactive talent pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, local networks, and agency partnerships where they add value.
• Run structured, data‑informed hiring processes that balance quality, pace, and consistency.
