Job summary

The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is hiring a Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will create a safe, nurturing toddler classroom and implement the LEAP curriculum, engaging children through art, music, movement, and hands-on learning.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, patience, energy, and strong communication. Full-time, Monday-Friday with paid training and opportunities for professional growth. $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• Toddler, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging Toddler classroom
• Implement age-appropriate activities and The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, and hands-on learning
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social skills
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
• Observe children's development and support individual milestones
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
