Job summary

The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking an Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You’ll provide nurture care for infants, support feeding and routines, and help babies reach early developmental milestones.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday with paid training, professional development, and an employee childcare discount to support our dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Infant, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience is a plus.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants throughout the day.
• Support feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized daily routines.
• Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory, movement, and early learning experiences.
• Encourage early language, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
• Observe developmental milestones and maintain a clean, safe classroom.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate positively with families.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
