Job summary

The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will support toddlers as they develop language, independence, and social skills through engaging activities and routine care in a nurturing setting.

This full-time role offers paid training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive teaching team. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided in a structured childcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Patient, energetic, dependable, and nurturing.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging Toddler classroom.
• Implement age-appropriate activities and The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, and hands-on learning.
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social skills.
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance.
• Observe children’s development and support individual milestones.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education

The Learning Experience - Ramsey, NJ

Pay: $17 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is looking for an energetic and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Toddlers are busy discovering their independence, building language, making friends, and exploring everything around them. You'll help turn that natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences while providing the structure and consistency young children need.

What You'll Do
