Job summary

Boulder YMCA is seeking a part-time Toddler Early Childhood Teacher to lead the preschool classroom, implement the program curriculum, and ensure safety procedures are followed. You will supervise children and support Assistant Teachers while delivering engaging activities aligned with YMCA values.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or CDHS qualification, at least one year of preschool supervisory experience, and the ability to communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or CDHS qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience with preschool-aged children.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements curriculum within established guidelines.
• Designs and implements daily lesson and activity plans.
• Supervises children and classroom activities; supports Assistant Teachers.
• Maintains program records, registrations, and medications as required.
• Conducts parent conferences and maintains positive parent relationships.
