Job summary

YMCA of South Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to implement the Creative Curriculum while fostering a nurturing environment. You will collaborate with the Preschool Director, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or a Certified Developmental Assistant (CDA) certification, along with effective communication skills and the ability to lead a classroom effectively. A commitment to ongoing education is also required.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the Mission and goals of the YMCA.
• Completion of a 40-hour HRS course within 3 months of employment.
• 10 in-service continuing education hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Creative Curriculum and Reggio Emilia philosophy.
• Lead a class with the help of an assistant.
• Maintain a clean and orderly classroom.
