Cadence Education in Prior Lake, MN seeks a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support daily activities and Cadence programs in a nurturing classroom. You’ll help create a safe, engaging environment for toddlers, following state licensing requirements and IEP plans as directed.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for Teacher Assistant.
• Background clearances and health screenings required.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily; build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual; document incidents.
• Assist with documenting and reporting escalated child behaviors.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
