Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Teacher Assistant (Toddler) to support daily activities in a warm, safe classroom while helping implement Cadence Education programs under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher.

Responsibilities include greeting families, supporting individualized development, following IEPs and behavior plans, assisting with curriculum, and documenting incidents; Cadence offers benefits like tuition discounts, health/Dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety procedures and childcare policies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with classroom staff.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment for children.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental and learning needs including following IEPs.
• Support planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents as required.
• Assist with managing and reporting escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to all Cadence policies and participate in meetings and trainings.
