Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant in Minnesota. You will support a safe, nurturing classroom and assist in delivering Cadence Signature Programs while aligning with IEPs and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow safety procedures including food allergy processes and Safe Sleep practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Able to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, respectful classroom environment for every child.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental and behavioral needs, following IEPs as directed.
• Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents per policy.
• Assist with managing and reporting escalated child behaviors according to Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and participate in meetings and trainings.
