Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated Front End / To Go Supervisor to oversee day-to-day To Go operations in Saint George, SC. You will hire, train, and coach department associates, ensuring smooth on-line order processing and high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will lead scheduling, monitor performance, and collaborate with store leadership to meet budget goals, while maintaining store standards for quality, safety and service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or will be required to attend company provided training and have the ability to achieve accreditation within the first 90 days of employment; Accreditation must be maintained while employed in a position requiring accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provide ongoing performance management and training.
• Maintain effective work schedules for To Go associates to meet online order needs.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Guiding Principles and Values.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure fresh orders and handle out-of-stocks.
• Ensure prompt handling of return-to-stock items, especially refrigerated and perishable items.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control store expenses through proper ordering and inventory management.
