Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Supervisor to lead Food Lion To Go operations, hire and train department associates, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Accreditation as a Certified Food Safety Manager or able to obtain within 90 days; maintain accreditation during employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations including hiring and training department associates.
• Oversee performance, provide coaching and formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order traffic requirements.
• Lead the store culture in line with Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure fresh orders and stock, including out-of-stocks, are handled properly.
• Ensure sanitation, safety and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and solutions to meet customer expectations.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practices and maintain security.
