Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Operations Supervisor in Charlotte, NC to oversee Food Lion To Go operations and ensure exceptional service. Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and development of department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct timely formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order traffic and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Provide leadership to promote the Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure proper handling of out-of-stock items and returns to stock.
