Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Lead to oversee To Go operations and act as a customer service ambassador across departments. The role involves hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching associates to meet online order demand while upholding safety, quality and service standards.

You will partner with managers to ensure fresh inventory, manage expenses, and maintain high customer satisfaction and associate morale in a fast-paced store environment at Fort Mill, SC.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or willing to train within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manages Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provide ongoing performance management.
• Maintain effective work schedules for To Go associates to meet online order demand.
• Provide leadership to promote our Guiding Principles, Core Values and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders and prevent stockouts.
