Job summary

Discovery Mood in Austin, TX is seeking a TMS Technician to provide in-office therapeutic treatments under physician supervision. You will deliver compassionate patient care, support scheduling, and handle daily administrative tasks.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and empathy, with full-time hours (30–40 per week, 7am–7pm, two Saturdays monthly) at Austin Mopac or Cedar Park locations; pay range $19–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with clinical scheduling and insurance principles
• One or more years of related experience in a healthcare setting, preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers, admissions, and practice administrator to assure patient scheduling and care delivery is completed timely and effectively
• Address any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms
• Operate a medical/mechanical device
• Support office with daily operations of the facility to include knowledge of all aspects of behavioral health services
• Check in or check-out patients, verifies demographics with each clinic visit
• Verify/collect payments for all patient check-in
• Answer telephones on a timely basis and takes messages/schedules appointments as necessary
• Explain and administer patient treatment procedures
• Monitor a patient for medical symptoms
• Provide medical intervention in an emergency situation
